Shipping Rules - two items of note. A three judge panel in overturned the lower court rule striking down the need for a "Face to Face". So we have to go back to the old rules, requiring a "face to face" meeting before wines can be shipped. Second, Ohio is now going to require a label registration fee of $50. No, not one $50 fee for Satek Winery, but $50 for every wine we have. Since we have 26 wines currently, that would be $1300 in label fees. To say this is absurd for the amount of business we ship to Ohio is the understatement of the month. Satek Winery will register a few of our most popular wines, but the registration fee is ridiculous for small wineries. So, for until registration is complete, we no longer will ship wine to Ohio.
We are sold out of DeChaunac for the year. We have also released a Mango wine and our Kreibaum Bay Dry Rose'. Both have proven to be big hits with consumers.
Watch this space for a list of events next year. We are planning to do add a few more events than we had t his year.

The Art Fairs were great, with nearly 30 artists participating in the last event.
